As some of you may have heard.. my computer self destructed
a few weeks ago.. I have built up another one, but have not
completely recovered from all the files and programs that I
have lost.. I will try to continue running the NET and doing
net notes.. This is the first try so beware of problems..

Hi Joe,
I will not be on the moon on 25,26 or 27 of June due to helping our
radio club with a Satellite station for Field-day. I also will be gone
on the weekend of the July 4. After that I hope things will get back to
normal.
I am planning to work Mike Melum, AL7OB at 16:30Z on 6-12. I hope your
email is working again. Thank you for your help and I hope to talk to
you soon on HF.

Hi Joe,
Have I missed something? This weekend is fast approaching and I haven't
seen any Net Notes for past few weeks, nor any skeds. Should I presume
there are none?
Will be out of here on 27th to Panama city, then Seattle on 29th, then AK
on/abt 6th July.
Once there, as able, will try also to get on Net from KL7 and when get a
config for e-mail there, will try that means also.

Klaus, - Tnx for the excellent job you have done with the
arrangement of skeds.
After this [June] S/W I will be dismantling my present
antenna array to make way for the new array which is
now completed but in sub assembly form. Everything
is new [apart from the preamp/relay box] including the
tower & rotators. I expect final assembly & testing to
take five to six weeks which will preclude any July S/W
skeds but the target is to be on by the Aug S/W.
Can you therefore consider me QRT until further notice
but I will advise as soon as I am QRV again.
The replacement array is 16 x 4.0 w/l DL6WU`s with
full polarity control. It has been a very big [& expensive]
project but with the end hopefully in sight it has got to
the exciting stage. It will replace a 4 x 9.2 w/l DL6WU
horiz only array which has given me a lot of pleasure but
I have learned that fixed polarity is a big disadvantage.
Power will remain the same, [approx 600w at the array].
Tnx once again.
Regards & 73`s, Trevor Benton, VK4AFL.

Joe,
As usual I couldn't hear much on the net this morning. Anyway, I will
report the following from this week:
Tried RW1AW and DK3WG on numerous occasions with no results. RW1AW
reported hearing me and sending O's.
Tried with KB4CNI again. I heard him on two occasions he did not hear
me, no QSO. While trying to work him, W7QX was hearing me FB. He could
not transmit due to high VSWR. We arranged sked for later, and this
time I could hear him, he could not hear me.
Last night, I heard KB4CNI and sent O's, no QSO. W7QX nothing heard.
W7HAH O copy completed QSO (finally)! I was getting discouraged!
Heard K1FO loud! at his moonset. He did not hear me.
Got a few lined up for today and I am advertising on Moon-Net for more.
Should have 1296 on the air by next month SW.
