SARA WESTERN REGIONAL MEETING (W6/PA0ZN)
SARA WESTERN REGIONAL MEETING.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18th, 1995.
SETI INSTITUTE.
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA.

SARA's first-ever Western meeting will be held at the SETI Institute, which operates Project Phoenix, the privately funded continuation of NASA's former targeted Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. Their President is Dr. Frank Drake. The group recently completed observations at Arecibo and Parkes Observatory.

Our keynote speaker will be Seth Shostak, Public Programs Scientist for the SETI Institute and editor of SETI News. He will speak on Project Phoenix and give us the latest update. We have also asked for a tour of the SETI Institute.

This is a great opportunity to get to know other SARA members in your area... please join us!
