01-35 should give 100%, maybe ssh needs 1% and that is why you 
read 99% only:-)

I do not know how to use ssh, but I guess you would find a much lower
value, close to the cpu load on the Linrad screen if you change
the general setup to use usleep in the idle loop.

Multi-threaded linrad shows up as several PIDs if I use AltF to 
look from another console in text mode. This is with older kernels
that repoart the individual threads. With modern kernels there
is only a single PID for the entire linrad task and the cpu load
reported is similar to the value linrad reports.

When using a second terminal while running linrad-02.xx you must
have logged in before starting linrad, otherwise linrad will not
continue to run happily (with the screen thread waiting for svgalib)
