[linrad] Re: 96000 Hz sampling on laptop

I took the information about the laptop chip from someone else's post who
claimed to have the same laptop as yours. Clearly he was mistaken. Anyway, I can
say the following are true from our combined efforts:

1. Your laptop has a builtin chip that samples at an amazing speed for a
laptop. Of course I don't know whether the SNR and THD and IMD are as good as a
PCI card. But regardless, you are well equipped indeed.

2. It is correct that I have proven that one can definitely play Leif's or
Alberto's 96KHz I & Q 2 channel files on an antique Turtle Beach card which
under winrad shows up as a lowly SB128. This works running Win2K and I am
certain would with XP as well. It does not work with Win98se.
