I'll study on this. I am really not very experienced with the SDR yet,
even though I have had it two years. Until I got Linrad running I
couldn't do much with it.
I have made an attempt to set the IF levels of all my transverters at
the same point, which should minimize variations at the input of the SDR-14.

I haven't calibrated the noise blanker yet. I don't use the SDR-14 on
the HF bands. The 0-30 mhz input is used to look at the 28 mhz IFs of my
transverters on 50, 144, 222, and 432 mhz. The 144 side is for all the
microwave bands from 903 mhz through 10 Ghz--six of the them.
This weekend I built a 17 dB horn antenna for 10 ghz. I put it on my
signal generator and pointed it at my tower where the 10 ghz equipment
is. I used the Linrad ability to measure signal levels to determine that
the new antenna had the proper gain and that it was 50 dB better than
one stub antenna that I had been using as a test source. I guess it was
worse than a dummy load...hi.. At any rate, to discover and use the
signal level measurement ability of the Linrad program was very
exciting. Thank you for writing this program. It is truly incredible and
I haven't begun to use all of its capabilities yet.
