My system was set to "None" a long time ago. I have been looking into X
smearing and tearing for a while.

I noticed another strange thing,

If I set
CIC2 8
CIC5 6
RCF 4

I get a message "Error the sampling speed is far too high for USB 1.0"

My USB port is 2.0
