Spurs from soundcard

I have a LOT of spurs from my sound card in linrad.  They are evenly
spaced strongest in the middle and work their way out (I-Q input).  They
are spaced evenly, but get weaker.

This is with the emu10k1 module directly form the 2.4.20 kernel.

How can I tell if this is a problem with my homebuilt receiver or
interference, or just a problem with my sound card?
