New Linrad e-mail list user

Hello Linrad fans:

I have just joined to this list. Only to tell you that I have installed
again susccessfully Linrad version 56 on my second computer, and old 486.
This computer was tested some time ago with 36version with good results in
SSB bandwith for EME. Now I reinstall all again with old Linux Mandrake 6.1
and svgalib and nasm picked from Leif page almost without problems. The
first problem I found was a "segmentation fault received" when started
Linrad. The problem was caused by a bad svgalib video card configuration.
Once fixed all was ok (svgalib has go some nice testing programs). Leif,
your web page suport is great for installing Linrad.
The second error message was found when I was setting the location
parameters for moon tracking. I needed manually to mkdir /home/emedir folder
and problem was solved.
Now I am going to install Linrad on my AMD 1200 MHz computer and Mandrake 8.
WeŽll see what happens.....Linux always reserves marvelous surprises.

Thank you Leif for your great program.!!!
:-)

Also thanks to Linux!!! :-)
