Interesting:-) I have tried to get RedHat 5.something running 
but failed to install it properly. RH6.1 was easy so I did not 
try to find out what the problem was - and I do not remember.

You could perhaps make two experiments. Is it possible
to install Linrad-01.35 and is it possible to install 
Linrad-02.02? If they run I would expect 01.35 to be
much better on this very old computer because of the 
multithread overhead. Would be fun to know:-)
